Sue has over 30 years’ experience in retail and HR, the last 15 in the Group HR Director role for businesses including Mothercare, RHM and Thresher Group (Terra Firma). Sue began her career with Marks & Spencer, where she progressed rapidly through store operations, before moving into HR.
In the course of her executive career, Sue has been involved in several high profile turnaround and transformation programmes where the impetus was on building management capability at all levels in the structure. This is part of Sue’s DNA and she sees building sustainable leadership as a foundation stone of any company’s commercial success.
Sue’s extensive retail knowledge and expertise enables her to provide clients with the insight required to secure the right functional expertise, cultural fit and executive team dynamic. Getting these elements right is her core priority, as she believes it makes the difference between mediocrity and excellence.
